(Also read what guests wrote last winter)
Many guests staying at Wolvesey View say they feel very much at home, enjoying John's great hospitality.

It was a rare gift to find your home and hosting. I arrived late and flustered for a friend's wedding. I needed to decompress the next morning and I was offered a wonderful breakfast, a chance to return to bed and sleep in the quiet and the breeze and a simply perfect selection of suggestions that afternoon – Evensong, your room, and the book market – its a wonderful
experience of time slowed down and enriched to be able to offer your guests. Kate S, London

Dear John, anything can happen if you go on the internet and book accommodation, it can turn out a dungeon with a dragon to feed you burnt toast in the morning. But we were so lucky! A lovely house, wonderful room with the most amazing view – and most of all a very special host who never says no! Thank you so much for the hospitality and help, for us and our (26) friends! Hope the music did recompense a bit. We hope to come again! Lotte and Ed van de P, Utrecht Cathedral Choir, Holland
