John’s breakfasts are a wonderful start to your day.
Enjoy cold orange juice and fresh coffee or tea and a superb traditional 'English' breakfast, often with home made bread baked overnight..
Just let John know if you would like to start with porridge or prefer scrambled or poached eggs. Few guests can resist the temptation of Johns really great English breakfast (sausage, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried egg and toast served on a piping hot plate). Finish this off with local jams and honeys from the outstanding Winchester Farmers Market and tea or real coffee...
A copy of The day's Times newspaper is even there on the table.
Enjoy meeting other visitors staying with us, or chat to John about Winchester, or amusing tales from his seven years of being a host. if you are not rushing off breakfast is very laid back - a chance to connect with your inner tortoise!
And for when you do feel hungry again later John can advise you where to eat and drink.
Sometimes in the height of summer John serves breakfast in the garden which is a great treat!
