A great place to stay if you are working in Winchester, visiting friends or relatives, coming to party or for a wedding or conference. The ideal spot for visitors touring England (with private parking, near the coach stop and railway station).

the house
John can advise you on what
to see and do as well as where to eat and drink. Winchester is the perfect
place to enjoy exploring on foot,
Just a short walk away are the river Itchen, the cathedral, great pubs and restaurants, museums, shops and walks, including the South Downs Way.
The house used to belong to
the great English actor Sir Alec Guinness. Today the house is shared by John and two very friendly cats.
